Pinnallinen, paikoin mitäänsanomaton. Oppiakseen Marxin ajatuksista olisi kenties parempi tarttua suoraan itse Marxiin.

A good basic introduction to Marx's life and work. In the last chapter the author summarizes the subsequent changes in Marxist theories since his death in 1883, many of which Marx would probably not recognize. A decent bibliography with further reading suggestions is also included - the 'Communist Manifesto' and 'Das Kapital, Vol 1' are primary theoretical sources, of course. There is not a lot of detail here, but as a starting point for deeper investigations this book is very good.

Clear cut, concise, easy to understand. Interesting accounts and a good overview of concepts and thinkers of the other Marxist branches.

Side note: Marx is my hero *_* I want to read, gather knowledge and learn languages just like he does!! While having a good balanced family life and friends.
