A beautiful stocking-stuffer-sized pop-up book pulled from the bestselling pop-up THE CHRISTMAS ALPHABET.
Inspiring pop-ups from Robert Sabuda and Matthew Reinhart's bestselling pop-up book THE CHRISTMAS ALPHABET beautifully form the word "christmas" in this stocking-stuffer sized book. Priced at just $9.99, this is a perfect holiday gift, as well as a must-have collectible for Sabuda and Reinhart's many fans.
Robert Sabuda is internationally acclaimed for his stunning pop-up books, including America the Beautiful and The 12 Days of Christmas. He is also the illustrator of Chanukah Lights by Michael J. Rosen. Robert Sabuda lives in New York City.
This lovely little book has very simple text at one word per page. The pop-ups on each page are delightful and cover a wide range of Christmas topics. In my opinion, the most intricate and beautiful pop up is 'S is for Snowflake'.
We have had this book for years and enjoyed it many times. I just read it to my 20 month old for the first time. He insisted on 'gain' (again) eleven times before I insisted on nap time. He especially loved the 'M is for Manger' page and repeated 'baby' over and over while pointing to the Christ Child. He wanted to take the book to bed with him, he lost. While toddler friendly in size, it is not at all toddler friendly in sturdiness of pop-ups, as it should be. This charming book is perfect for any Christmas book collection.
Cute but disappointing. I ordered this from a catalog and somehow crazily thought there would be a Christmas related popup for every letter A-Z. The popups are marvelous but there are only 9--the nine letters the spell out C-H-R-I-S-T-M-A-S.
