It doesn't say on Goodreads here but this book was co-written by Scott Flatow who, in addition to being a baseball trivia maven, is my good friend and general pub quiz teammate.

This book is chock-a-block full of facts about the best ball club not called the Brooklyn Dodgers (complicated family history, don't ask) and though by it's own point system yours truly is the Yankees trivia equivalent of an underperforming Steve Sax, one thoroughly enjoyed this romp through the annals.

Spoiler: Who knew Graig Nettles was the most cite-worthy Yankees of the last half century and Tino Martinez rates almost bupkus? That was my takeaway - feel free to disagree!

this is NOT for the casual fan, nor the 'love of the game' type like myself. There are 7 games made of 9 innings with 10 - 11 questions each. I know my yankee history fairly well, but ended up "batting" .185 (128 of 693. Pretty arcane stuff. Also difficult to read as an ebook with answers buried in the back.
