Time to put this on my wishlist to own, considering I just ran out of library renewals on it! Great book to use for fast reference/research as a layman or just flipping it open and reading a random entry!

Handy guide to the heroes (and places, and sometimes items) of Antiquity, focusing around Rome, Greece, and Egypt, with additional notes if referred to by writers up through the early 20th century.
