This book explains the laws of prosperity that will open up opportunities for you. I like how faith as a principle is applied in this book to all different situations. I learned new ways to think. I believe this book explores ideas that would benefit everyone.

In exploring how to increase our prosperity, Leslie explains that, "ideas are things, too. An idea in its beginning state is invisible in the physical world. The right environment for an idea is our mind. Held there long enough, it begins to move from the invisible to the visible world. Rooted out of our mind by doubt or apathy, the idea is drawn back into an etheric state, to remain invisible forever."

If you think about any hobby or interest. Someone has turned that interest into a money-generating venture. Some people are more successful than others. Leslie explains some possible reasons why.

One idea that leads to prosperity is gratitude. If you can see your experiences and current situation in light of the opportunities instead of the limitations, you might be able to see other opportunities too. “The outer conditions of a person’s life will always be found to be harmoniously related to his inner state...The soul attracts that which it secretly harbors; that which it loves, and also that which it fears...Men do not attract that which they want, but that which they are.”

She challenges our willingness to change and grow as we move into greater prosperity. "Too many people wait to see a way before striving for significant change in their life." Her main point is that your thoughts create your reality before it is realized. She encourages people who are doubtful to hope using the laws of rhythm and gestation.

While this book is mostly theoretical, you will find ways to apply its principles to your life if you clearly state your desired outcome and break it down into measurable components. The "laws" that govern your success will manifest the truth to the extent that you are in harmony with that truth.

I just love Householder's insights! Years ago, I read her Jackrabbit Factor and it revolutionized my thinking at a time when I needed it. Later, I started this book, left it in my car, and forgot about it for too long. When we sold that car recently, I retrieved the book, finished it, and then started it over and read it again. It is so enlightening, and just what I needed to focus and elevate my mental efforts over a challenge that has recently been thrown our family's way. I even wrote key points on an index card so I wouldn't forget them, and now keep that handy to refer to.

Highly recommend!

I have a feeling this is the kind of book that is going to grow on me. It certainly made me think, and I also shared ideas and thoughts based on what I read with others while reading it. The concept that has been on my mind the most through reading and finishing this book is the power in and role of expressing gratitude. I do want to cultivate more gratitude in my life, and am grateful for the ideas and concrete ways to do so that were discussed in the book.

A truly invaluable book that will help you to navigate this sometimes sketchy existence. Understanding each principle will help you keep those seed goals alive. You gotta read it!

The concepts in this book gave me new ways to look at life and my experiences. If I can only remember to live them. Paradigm shifter!

Okay, so I am not much into these "get rich" books like Rich Dad, Poor Dad, Richest Man in Babylon, etc, etc... However, even if I was, I seriously doubt I would recommend this book anyway. On the upside it was an extremely quick read that I flew through in a couple hours. On the downside it was extremely theoretical with very little actual substance. This lady continues to give advice on how to get your heart and mind in the right place so that the Lord will bless you with riches--WHAT?? She professes that she used to live a life of financial strain and stress and after following these 7 laws her life has changed and she is rich. She never explains how she got rich and nowhere in her profile does it explain it either (just that she is a motivational speaker now and author of several books on getting rich). Where's the credibility? And, I'm sorry, but nowhere in the scriptures does it say that if you are worthy the Lord will make you rich with money! Sure he says he'll bless us abundantly, but I don't think this is always interpretted as monetary wealth otherwise we'd see a lot more rich and humble men. (Doesn't that seem like an oxymoron?). What about Mother Teresa, Ghandi, Joseph Smith, or even Jesus Christ himself? All these people had humble and pure hearts and were far from rich... I could go on and on how I disagree with this book!!!! It actually angers me that people try to teach this crap to people because so many people are willing and ready to believe it!! Argh!!!

I love the seven basic laws she gives for belief in. The fact that its about wealth creation is fine, but not a draw for me. I just love the healthy perspective of life and positive thoughts. Here is a summary of the laws--which is all I needed to get from it.

Law of Perpetual Transmutation
Circumstances and things are perpetually coming or going according to your thoughts.

Law of Relativity
Your situation is not fundamentally good or bad until you compare it to something else.

Law of Vibration
Your thoughts control your personal vibration. Change your thoughts, get emotional about them, and you’ll change what is attracted to you.

Law of Polarity
Everything has an opposite. A bad situation is equally good. Look for the good, and more good will be on its way.

Law of Rhythm
When you feel down be assured that an upswing is coming. Plan on endless progression upward.

Law of Cause and Effect
Action and reaction are equal, in opposite directions. Focus on what you can give, not what you will get.

Law of Gender
Plant your own idea seeds, and then be patient. Don’t uproot your idea seed with doubt.

Vacuum Law of Prosperity
Nature abhors a vacuum. Make room for the thing you desire by giving away that which you do not like or use. Give it away, and let the Universe compensate you. God pays better than yard sale shoppers.

I read this after the Jackrabbit Factor also. It is more scripture based and so motivating. I never have really worried about our family's financial future; I always knew we would be okay. I also never got excited about it either. In addition, I always struggled with the idea that being rich lead to unrighteousness. I feel like I have a better idea of how to blend the two and I am so stoked about our financial future! I have already, in the month since I read this, seen evidences of the power of these laws when used correctly. I tried last year to sell my truck and I didn't get ONE e-mail or phone call. I used the laws of thought for a month, put my truck up for sale and I sold it on Monday! A gas guzzler and $10,000 of debt wiped out of my hands. Some could call this coincidence, but I choose to believe.

I loved "the secret" but in some aspects had to apply the information to my own personal belief system in my own way. This book is and LDS approach to the theories of "the secret". Very enlightening, renewing my faith in certain aspects, and I learned things about prayer and my relationship with God. As well as to accept the fact that it is a worthy thing to "seek riches" if done in the right ways.

Why not 5 stars? I thought it was a little too redundant throughout the whole book. She explains things VERY simply and repeats them in different ways to make sure we got the point. and then she had juvenile charts and drawings to reiterate the points as well. Only 4 stars because - I got it the first time she said it.

But the information is enlightening and I am very glad I spend my time reading this.

This book (coupled with The Jackrabbit Factor) is completely life changing! Danny and I read it together, that's why it took us so long! Now we are going to read The Jackrabbit Factor together. (I have already read it--I'd suggest reading it before Hidden Treasures--but I want to reread it now and have Danny read it for the first time.) This book describes the laws that God uses to bring things into our lives and explains how we can use those laws to our benefit to bring positive, good, even miraculous things to us. After reading it I feel completely empowered, positive, grateful, and full of hope! Everyone should read this book whether what you desire is money, a house, better health, or just a better sense of gratitude. Love it!

The title is somewhat misleading. The principles outlined in the book can definately be applied to money matters, but are certainly not limited to only that. This book outlines 7 natural laws (universal laws) that if followed can significantly improve our lives. After studying this and a few other books recently I am coming to realize how much power our minds have. We truly are a product of our thoughts. If you want more prosperity in your life in all areas, this is a book is a great place to start.

I read this primarily because my employer asked me to in order to assist in a "mind shift" about our company. What I discovered was that I needed that "mind shift" in my personal life and in the lives of my family members. I really, really think there is some power behind the way we think. I believe in "laws." That is what governs our universe. This book teaches you how to use these laws. We always get what we ask for whether we realize it or not. Fall 2011

Just as good the second time. Learned even more. Summer 2012

I really loved this book. I've been trying to really apply positive thinking in all I do and to teach it to my kids. If we really apply these principles, we can achieve anything! This book reminds us that all of these principles are taught in the scriptures and that we have known and believed them all along--we are just lacking faith. Very good book--I'm on my way to achieving anything I want!!!!!

This book really helped me in so many ways. I feel like I have a better understanding of the laws connected to prosperity. I also understand faith better and have a greater desire to deepen my faith because of it. I now know how truly important my thoughts are. It has helped me to realize that I can't afford to put negative things in my head. I have a greater feeling of hope and a desire to do good. I am so impressed with this author. She is truly an inspiration.

Learn about the universal laws that govern prosperity. Leslie takes each of these 7 laws and teaches what they are. Most of us struggle because we don't know the laws that govern prosperity. Learning these laws has really helped me and my husband make better decisions regarding our finances and creating better opportunities for ourselves!

While this book is geared toward helping people do better financially, its lessons can be applied to life in general. It is a good reminder that a positive attitude can be one of the most helpful tools in your life. When trials or bad things happen, something good will come of it, even if it's just that you learn something from it or learn something about yourself.

Hidden Treasures is a great guide to the laws of nature and how our thoughts effect our circumstances. We can work with natural laws to get what we want out of life. God intended it that way, and we just need to change our thought processes. I highly recommend this book. It's very enlightening!

I love, love this book. It gave me hope that my finances could improve, and that they are not just based on capricious forces. I actually got to meet Leslie in July 2008 and that was the icing on the cake!

That the Law of Attraction is but one law of several, of which, if we learn how to work within them, there is nothing that we cannot discover or accomplish.

This book helped me see the Secret in scriptural terms and language. Leslie really outdid herself on this one.

This is the best book that I've read in a long time. I loved learning about universal laws and how we create our life circumstances without necessarily realizing it. Very powerful.
