In which Ireland's greatest unknown nature writer Bill Wurtzes life, the universe and everything. Similar to the wide-ranging books HG Wells was writing towards the end of his life. I took to heart his comments towards the end of the book that England, having industrialised so early compared with other countries, became environmentally unaware as a nation and as a result had no regard for the despoiling of the natural world - something that seems to have been borne out in recent years.
