I REALLY ENJOYED THIS BOOK AND LOVED THE MOVIE ALSO. HAVE YOU SEEN THE MOVIE? DID YOU ENJOY IT?
I should have clarified that Enduring Love was the first of McEwan's books I read. I have loved all the rest. And my comment in my first post that "no one agrees" was simply a snarky response to a friend who, in a passive-aggressive way, said, "You LIKED Enduring Love? That's so, well, odd because my sister belongs to a book club and they all hated it." She is not on Goodreads-she doesn't read (many) books but what a silly remark. If SHE had not liked it, fine. But she had not even read it and was reporting what her sister (whom I know) and her book club members. They trend toward chick-lit.
