well, i grew up with a real Xtian-Scientist/New-Agist/'positive-Thinker' (i know, i know; it sounds like spalding gray's mom_already!)& all this 'gratefulness' therapy really really works - 'course i'm too lazy to put it in effect, 'cause it's a LOT of DAILY work ~ THAT, & i haven't finished it yet [i read the Secret_tho]
very hard to change old habits but possible
so now i've finished it - but it's pretty straight-forward & clear: you hafta do the Hard Work ~ & that's all there is to it (i actually believe this works, but it may not work with everyone .. etc
It doesn't work for those that don't belive it! "Law Of Attraction" is at work whether you believe it or not. Many religious institutions would rather you think it's a fake; they want to control you! I have seen, first hand, miracles take place, people totally change their lives for the better, inventions created; on and on and on! All because they used "The Secret"! "Whether you think you can or you can't, you're right!" Henry Ford.
I certainly believe that if you believe that this will work for you. Both both positive and negative thoughts.
A fake, no doubt about that! It is the worst book I've ever read...
I couldn't get into this book. I put it up when it talked about getting someone to take you to get a rock..
people who think this is fake need to do more research and recalibrate their worldview..
