Rica She's got a little color. WTF! Who says that? Zoey is pale as F!.!. Just because she isn't blond doesn't mean anything. What is the matter with people nowadays?

Paige Yin she is tan. and what are the opposite options there are for Rose? I saw people said Sophia Bush, ain't she white too? not to mention a little too old...

I think Zoey is awesome, not perfect fit, but there is no one who can be perfect fit for a book character.

Let's not forget, all movies based on books are 'based' on books, they are not subjected to follow the book 100%.

Rica Really if that is what someone calls tan. Wow. Rose is tan because she is half Turkish. Alot of Turkish people have darker skin and Rose seems to have that from her father's side of the family. It is a natural color to her.

Just because other people said Sophia Bush doesn't mean everyone said Sophia Bush. She is white so she wouldn't fit the character's description. Some people refuse to actually comprehend what a character looks like especially if they are not white. That's how you get a Hunger Games controversy where Rue is stated to be dark skin and fans saying no she is white and she just has a f***ing tan.

Of course they don't follow the book 100% no one expects them too. But people do expect them to be at least somewhat fateful to the character's look and not just cast some dark haired white girl and say, "There, she fits."

I don't even really care anymore. It will either sell or flop. So whatever, doesn't mean I have to go watch it.

Cas ♛ Even though I haven't watched the movie yet I thought from watching the trailers that she was great and fitted the role perfectly. I thought Lucy Fry was a bit old for Lissa, but in the trailers she looked ok, though she did look a little older than Rose.
