Mark Anderson My newest book, "Sage Among the Pines" is out and has already won a Firebird award for best coming of age fiction. It is available on most book order sites and platforms. The reviews are coming in, and they are excellent! It is a great summer read for parents and grandparents with teens. However, I do not recommend it for young teens as it contains death, suicide, grief, mental breakdown, and severe anxiety. On the happier side, it also has messages of hope, love, understanding, friendships, values, forgiveness, and plenty of horses rides. Check out "Sage Among the Pines," you will love it.

Mark Anderson I have the entire plot for my next book in my head, and nearly 100 pages of it on paper. The central theme deals with a French teenage girl, Yvette, who was forced to stay in her home as the cook and maid, after a German officer occupied the house during WWII. After the war, the French resistance rounded up women who associated with the Germans. The women were shaved, stripped, cut, beaten, and paraded through town. Some were treated worse. My story deals with how Yvette lives in the aftermath. More to come.
