Alex Arch Don't know if an author is allowed to reply but I'm too hyped! You guys rock!

message 4: by Bill (new)

Bill Adams Of course you can, Alex! We might even ask you questions!

message 5: by Alex (new)

Alex Arch Alright! That's awesome. I am so ready!

message 6: by Jordan (new)

Jordan Smith Fun stuff so far!

message 7: by Bill (new)

Bill Adams Alright, frens!

First topic for discussion: Channeler, Dampener, or Catalyst?

I really love the magic system. I haven't got too far yet, so I'm still finding out how the catalyst works. I love the concept, but looking forward to seeing more of how it works in world.

message 9: by A.J. (new)

A.J. Calvin Going to start this one tomorrow. :)

I would obviously be a Channeler. Mainly because I've had too much time to think about all the things they could do!

message 11: by G.J. (new)

G.J. Terral Haven't started yet, but have the book on deck. Based on the names and vibes alone, and the fact that I'm Eeyore incarnate, dampener. (Assuming some nullification or debuff type powers) Will see how it goes when I start lol.

message 12: by Jordan (new)

Jordan Smith Dampener and Catalyst seem kind of rough. Channeler definitely has the most cool-factor so far!

message 13: by Bill (new)

Bill Adams Hahaha Greg the Human Eeyore!

message 14: by Jordan (new)

Jordan Smith Yo Chapter 15 was wild

message 15: by Bill (new)

Bill Adams Jordan wrote: "Yo Chapter 15 was wild" Right?!?! There are a couple of chapters like that where I was stoked with what happened or where they went!

message 16: by Alex (new)

Alex Arch Fun fact: I love the ending to that chapter. It's one of my favorite. I love all that's running through her mind.

Ah! See what I did there.

That's hella cool you finished, Jordan! Glad you joined in this month. I am very happy people are reading Alex's book. So good. Ghost is a fabulous character!

message 20: by Bill (new)

Bill Adams Halfway point through the month! How's everyone's reading going?

Gearing up to schedule the live readalong finale show, does anyone have any questions for Alex that they might like to ask? (try to keep it very light on spoilers please!)

message 21: by Jordan (new)

Jordan Smith Oh cool, I didn't know we were doing a live readalong.

I guess I'm just interested in what some of Alex's favorite books/authors are that might have inspired some of the ideas/setting for the book? Or just his writing in general. Always love to see author's inspirations.
