Thank you for the review, it’s really appreciated. Not so sure a working knowledge of the betting industry is required to enjoy it, though that is only my opinion. It is a much a coming-of-age novel as a betting centred one and I was at pains to keep the racing jargon down to a minimum. Could I recommend you Manvers Road Star?
