Spot! Much like with the Halloween Bingo, I'll see what I read as I go along and focus on squares that pique my interest rather than try to pick a row/column and make a Bingo. Unlike it, this time I'll only go for three books because while I might read one of them during December, I'm focusing on finishing a couple other challenges, and those fifteen days of January might give me time to read more than just two books, but I don't wanna push it :)

The winter board leans into mood — isolation, cold, guilt, holiday horror — so if a book feels like it belongs in that square, it does.
It’s more about the emotional temperature than the tag on Goodreads :)

That said, since it’s a themed challenge, it’s always nice when the book has at least a touch of winter, Christmas, Hanukkah, etc. — or just that cozy–creepy seasonal vibe. It makes the whole thing feel a bit more special (and chaotic in the best holiday way 🎄💀).
For example, I’m reading Rosemary’s Baby for the “Satan Baby” square — it’s a reread for me, but if I remember right, the finale actually takes place in winter!

The topics on the squares are winter/holiday themed, the books don't have to be.
