I got to play Alan in a theatrical production, and it was one of the highlights of my experiences on stage. Interestingly, another highlight was playing Eugene Marchbanks in George Bernard Shaw's Candida, which I also saw you put in your TBR around when you added Equus. You seem to be picking through my Community Theatre backlog from 1987-2001. What's next, The Corn is Green?!

Oh I liked Volpone! My degree is Fine Arts/Theatre, hence a lot of reading of plays, doing essays on them. I got heavy into Restoration Comedy, but various other famous Comedies were especially appealing. For serious, I will humbly suggest something a bit off the beaten path: Venice Preserved, by Thomas Otway. Anyway, cheers, happy reading.
