Gillian Please nominate books here for our January 2026 reads. Books must meet the criteria of extreme horror / splatterpunk. If you're unsure, check out the book's tags here on Goodreads. Stuck on what to nominate? Here's a list:

Previous group reads and buddy reads are NOT eligible. Previous reads can be found here:

You may nominate only ONE book.

Rob The Cleanup by John Skipp

The cleanup, by John Skipp and Craig Spector.
A splatterpunk classic, and the best of all, a vigilante story (I love them).

Pisces51 I would like to nominate Cottonmouth (Kin Book 2) [2025]
by Kealan Patrick Burke. It is just now available in paperbook and digital. It is a thrilling prequel to his southern gothic horror novel Kin Cottonmouth

Pisces51 I have Border House on my tablet now. Ironically I just talked to Ian and he was recommending Simone Trojahn, having just read (Border House). He said "She's the real deal!" She is your favorite and also MD's. I expect she is great! This is the 4th translation? Or only the third? Great nomination! Excuse my typos I gotta head injury!
