Hey guys! We start our Book Club Group Read and Official Book Club Buddy Reads starting August 1st so please come participate. Nominations for our September Book Club Group Read will start the middle of August then we'll vote when we got enough nominations for it afterwards.August 15th we'll have our official Book Club Buddy Read of Lisey's Storystarting hosted by Dustin and Holly so be sure to stop by our buddy reads section of the book club and join in on the reads coming up and the group reads section for Ocean at the End of the Lane which won the poll. That one starts August 1st as well.

Btw I have the signup threads up for our all hallows read and christmas themed book recommendation book swap threads up but if you want to sign up early let me know. We'll be doing them in October and December. Thanks! I'm doing both.
If you sign up for the book recommendation swaps, you only have until September 28th for the All Hallows Read one for Halloween that starts October 1st-31st and End of the Day on November 26th for our Christmas/winter themed one that starts December 1st and ends January 1st as I will need time after the sign-ups end to select everyone that will be participating with their partners and give them time to discuss with their partners what books they are going to give each other to read. So you only have until these two days on both swaps to sign up. I made two banner photos for them so enjoy and go to the book recommendation swap section to sign up.

When you read a whole bunch of books in a certain amount of time. I participated in one where you post all the books you read for a certain month and how many pages were in each one and then added up the total amount of pages read for that month at the end.

BTW, September will be here very soon so I hope you guys will enjoy our Book Club Group reads, Book Club Official Group buddy reads and our read-a-thon for the month too for those of you participating in that. They all start on September 1st and Strange Highways by Dean Kootz continues through the end of the month for that official book club buddy read. Don't forget that you got until the end of the month if you'd like to join up with us for our All Hallow's Read Online book recommendation swap to sign up as partners will be selected afterwards and that will start on October 1st and will run through the 31st which is the official day of Halloween and Neil Gaiman's All Hallow's read and partners can choose to recommend a spooky, horror, or light Halloween read to their partner to read for the month and report back to let everyone know what they thought.
There's still time to sign up for our Christmas one too as those sign ups end on November 26 and partners will be assigned afterwards then starts December 1st through January 1st where partners can assign a Christmas or winter-themed book to their partner to read during December until the first of January and report back to let everyone know what they thought. So please go to the book club recommendation swap folder on the group page and find the sign ups for both online book recommendation swaps and let me know if you'd like to join thanks.
Nominations for our October group reads will start middle of September and the polls will go up after 7 or less nominations are selected so stay tuned.
We also start voting in the poll for what theme you'd like October's Read-a-thon theme to be starting Monday too.

Hey guys! I just added two book video trailers of two of the books that our book club is reading this month The Finisher and Matched so def check them out and I hope you guys enjoy them! ^_^
In the books section of the group we now have a spot where you can recommend Stephen king books you have read and enjoyed to others who want to check the author out but don't know where to start.
Our book club group read nominations for general, classic and nonfiction the threads for those went up today too so when we get enough nominations, we'll vote.

Just a reminder to all club members, if you are still interested in participating in our All Hallow's Read Halloween Online book recommendation swap then please go sign up at the sign up thread by September 28th. Partners will be assigned afterwards and we will have until midnight on October 31st to tell what we thought of the reads we were selected. If you'd like to do the It's the Most Wonderful Time of the year Christmas/Winter one, signups are still going on until November 26th and the Christmas/Winter one will go on until January 1st with partners being assigned afterwards as well. Just go to the Book Club Recommendation Swap section for those. We have a monthly Readathon going on this month too so if you want to join up, make a thread in the Readathon section to track your progress.
Nominations are now up for our October book club group reads as well for our general, classic, and nonfiction ones so please go nominate what you would love to read for October. When we have enough nominations for all three, I'll set up the poll and we'll vote.
We also have official book club buddy reads so if there is a read you'd like to do, please let me know in the buddy read requests section with when you are wanting to start it and I'll set up a thread for you and update the book in the book club's bookshelf. Right now we have the books Strange Highways, The Perfect Man and The Finisher going on for September and all of our August ones are still available for those who have not read them yet to do so.

Amber- I hope this is okay and the right place to post, but I've been conversing with Caroline (Xerces) privately, and she asked that I relate to you and Holly that is is okay, but hasn't had much time to get online lately, due to the recent death in her family.
