The Green Mile and Night Shift are both my favorites. I also just finished The Stand and it was really long but good
It all time favorite the shining and fantasy are my favorites so far oh and Salem’s lot! 💕 I preferred the movie doctor sleep over the novel and the movie wasn’t even all that but for me it was better than the book 📖. Happy reading to all!
So many to choose from..- Misery
- Rose Madder
- The DT series
- The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon
- Elevation
- Doctor Sleep
- Pet Cemetery
I swear they all are either amazing or put me in a reading slump. Some of my favorites:-The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon
-Carrie
-The Shining
-Mr. Mercedes (it's not horror but it's still an amazing book)
-Nightmares and Dreamscapes
-Sleeping Beauties
For me without a doubt it’s The Stand. I think it’s my 2nd or 3rd time rereading it! I’m also rereading Under The Dome.
Cujo started my love for Stephen KingI also enjoyed Revival, Gerald’s Game, the Long Walk, The Green Mile, Doctor Sleep.
Might be the only one to say Under The Dome, really enjoyed that one. Besides that probably Salems Lot or the Stand🤝🏻
11/22/63 and the Green Mile, but he’s written so many wonderful books that it’s difficult to choose really.
With a re-read in adulthood, I'd say The Shining for the sheer psychology of different personalities struggling against addiction and life.
I've only read twenty of his books so far, but my top five are:1. The Stand
2. Salem's Lot
3. Different Seasons
4. Pet Sematary
5. The Shining
There are so many to choose from! Some of my favourites include 11/22/63, Pet Sematary, The Green Mile, Salem's Lot...just to name a few.
Since IT is so big, I got sucked into the worlds pretty deep for a while, but i like Christine and insomnia the most. If you play the songs from every Christine chapter before reading it, it really feels like you’re seeing a movie in your head while being part of it. Insomnia got me very attached to the characters.
All of them :)psychological horror: IT
pure Horror: Bag of Bones and Salem's Lot
Epic Fantasy: the dark tower series
Thriller: Misery
Social: The Shawshank Redemption
Crime: Mr. Mercedes
Paranormal social: The Green Mile
Historical: 11/22/63
