That is interesting. I really loved the show growing up and when I read that series it reminded me of some of the episodes. And you are right, they were intense and that is a difference from horror. Thank you for your answer.
That's awesome. I agree that mystery is the greatest part of storytelling. Though I disagree about horror being about gore. Today's horror films have made it about that mostly, but horror as a genre is compelling because it examines the monsters and/or unknown about what's inside of us, not because of violence.
