10121 Although the story Metamorphosis is focused on Gregor, the biggest transformation came from his beloved sister, Grete.Towards the end of the story Grete begins to look at thi situation in a completely different way that she used to. She know sees that there no reason for Gregor to be around. " Dear parents," the siter said, striking the table with her hand by way of preamble," we can't go on like this..."(Kafka 47). This quote she how she now feels that it is time to get rid of Gregor even if she had to sacrafic herself. She used to be so careing for her brother, but now it's as if she never had any love for Gregor at all.

10121 In Metamorphosis Kafka portrays women to be obviously weakier mentally and physically." Gregor now heard how the two weak women moved the old wardrobe...."(Kafka 33). This statment reflects how Kafka might of felt how women were physically the weakier species."After about a quater-hour's work the mother saidit would be better to leave the wardrobe where it was, because, for one thing, it was too heavy,...."(Kafka 33). This statment show how the mother was mentally weak and she had ambitions of giving up on the job.All through this short story Kafka portrays the women to be the one's that stay around and handle the cooking and cleaning up for Gregor while the father goes out to handle everything. When Gregor is transformed into a bug and he losses his ability to handle his responsiblities as a man so in this case you can say becomes a women. He can't support them anymore so his father doesn't pay him any mind anymore and in the reading you can start to see how he doesn't respect Gregor anymore.

10121 In Metamorphosis do you feel that Kafka is describing his emotions into writing the character Gregor? Does Kafka feel emotionally upset with himself where that he feels he is less of a person because of what he went throughout his life?

10121 I personally am very greatful and proud to be apart of this historical point in time. I feel that President Obama's standard are not to high at all. I feel that he has already done the impossible, so there isn't anything he can't set his mind on an make it happen. Some people didn't want to see Obama become our first African American President, but those wasn't his thoughts. He felt that he has already come so far in life why give up now, thats why i firmly believe there isn't anything that cant be done if a person decides they want to do it.

10121 Since the beginning i believe that the mother was only trying to give her daughter some advice. The only thing is that the mother didn't come off the in a positive manor. She spoke down towards her daughter as if she enforcing instead of trying to look out for her.
