10121 British literature was a very difficult class because, it's so confusing or you really have to comprehend whats going on and be able to understand the various definition of the text you read. Ms.Qadeer focused Shakespears Macbeth as Marxist Critiscism. I believe that Ms. Qadeer is a marxist becasue in Macbeth, King Duncan was killed By Macbeth, Ms. Qadeer emphazied that Macbeth is power hungry and he did anything to get to king status, but when Macbeth reached his royalty he became corrupt. Ms. Qadeer is a marxist because she taught us how power could change and it follows the ideologist characteristic because Macbeth personal belief is that power controls everything and Macbeth is a marxist too.

10121 The father is a unique person but it's sad that he was forced to get a job. I say he was forced becasue until Gregor became unreilable, do to the transformation his father was doing nothing, know he's steping up but he's still a coward,"take off his messenger's uniform even at home; and while his bathrob hung unused on the hook, the father drowsed in his chair fully dressed, as if he were always ready for work"(Kafka 39). The father hasn't proved anything to me, just becasue he has a job does that make him important, if he hasn't relized that Gregor has missed out on all his hopes and dreams becasue the father is lazy and does't do what a father is supposed to. Gregor doesnt have a real father in his life, even though he's trying to change it isn't helping becasue he cant change the past, meaning he cant go back and give his son what he wants. The father is lazy and I believe he doesn't want to work to support his family, its just he's forced too.

10121 Kafka shows that women mean nothing in his form of changed, but they do have say so. In Metamorphisis Gregor sister is very helpful were as the mother attempts to act clueless." I think it would be best if we tried to keep the room in exactly the same condition as before so that when Gregor comes back to us agian, he'll find everything unchanged and it will be easier for him to forget what happened in between"(Kafka 33).If the sister didn't speak up about the room does the family changed it still? What exactly do they want Gregor to remember? The mother and the sister or the females of the story do nothing but cook, the father handles all the family finacies.I agree with william and his quote "Gregor now hears how the two weak women moved the old wardrobe...."(Kafka 33). The woman are not strong at all and the father talks to them any way he wants which probaly lowers there self-esteem.

10121 Kakfa is a modernist, his ways of changing things are very differnet and descriptive. He allows detail to tell his story and many authors don't do that. " In the palor, as Gregor saw through the crack in the door", (Kafka 25). Another author trying to symbolize an open door probaly would have just said the door was slightly open but Kakfa uses specfic ajectives so that the reader can get a picture in his head.I agree with Mahalia when she wrote that the book "Metamorphosis" portrays the exact objectives as a modernist. Kafka, not purposely, but he confuses readers to think the opposite and without the full understanding of the meaning to his writing effects me and everyone as a reader, Kafka set out to be different and it worked.

10121 Metamorphosis is an exapmle of the author life experiences so far.He expresses himself very stongly so that the reader can have the image in there head, great metaphor usage.Kafka portrays Gregor's family as like mentally challgenge or doesnt fully understand him which to me is understandable, he also makes it seem like the parents dont care about the debt.

Is Gregor's parents as concern as he about the debt he owns to the chief? What is the oringinally owe to the chief? Does Gregor's like the fact he turns into a bug? Does Kafka use the fact of turning into a bug as a form of transformation into comfort and relaxation or does he use it when he tired and stessed out?

10121 I definaletly agree with Armand when he is saying the "The Story of An Hour" isn't on my favorite list. Its a good story but the fact that the story never tells what Mrs. Mallard left behind before she meets her husband. What are her true dreams and desires? Even though when her husband was gone, i know that she wanted to do something and if she didnt what excites her? I didnt like the story becasue in the begining they introduced Mrs. Mallard so the story should have been what she wants to do. She isnt trap becasue anybody that doesn't like something should leave, Mrs. MAllard is an adult and she has good sense if she felt like her husband was her downfall then she should have left. I think that author tried to bring a story to reality but she didnt have the facts.

PRESIDENT OBAMA is absolitly ready to step to the plate as president, the experience and trust of the people is extraordinary, but I think that he need time to make change and everybodies in a hurry.
