1036 Phrodrick: oh well, I didn't really know that Mussolini was also an author of feuilletons, it sound completely new to me...

1036 I just finished 'The librarian' by Larry Beinhart.
It's an interesting political thriller published in 2004 and set during American presidential elections.
Not a masterpiece, but an entertaining reading.

1036 Hi there, I just joined the group.
I'm 47 and live in Italy (Milan).
I'm an avid reader, mostly of American literature (both classic and modern). I started reading spy novels quite recently (apart from some isolated reading several years ago).
So far, the authors I appreciated the most are Martin Cruz Smith, Joseph Kanon and Daniel Silva (but I also liked some works from Ludlum, Littell, Lustbader, Furst and Steinhauer).
Every suggestion for other authors (possibly translated in Italian...) is welcome.
