"On page 484, Just finished the second book, The Gods of Mars. The pace moved a bit slower than the first book. The plot not as gripping. It ends on a cliffhanger which I don't like. But the majority of the plot and action wrap up convincingly. I liked it but not as well as the first. John Carter is still the best among all Martians.
