1167739 If I hadn't already read so much about the subject matters this book encompasses, I don't think my mind and heart could have taken this story. But I've read about so much that is mentioned here, from different directions, through historical fiction and history books, that I was aware of what I might see. I'm enjoying reading the thoughts in this thread, this is not a book to read without getting to discuss it. I think the author has done a great job of presenting the story and allowing me to even feel something for those I normally would not give a second thought.

I have just finished listening to a Harper Collins book that I got from my library through Libby and I was able to go the HC site and look at the supplemental material for that book. I'm not always able to find the supplemental material for a library audiobook but it's certainly nice when doing so works out.

My dashboard is loading just fine.

I've never been brave enough to get anywhere near the date where the books would disappear from NG Shelf (I think that date might be the archive date or 56 days, which ever comes first). I do think putting the phone in airplane mode would work but would that prevent you from using your phone to make phone calls?

I hate that they expire so I make sure I listen to my NG Shelf audiobooks right away. And I also make sure I don't click on my non audiobooks when I'm in NG Shelf or else they will get an expiration date, too. 🙁

1167739 Coming into this year my feedback % had been around 85% and I seemed to be hanging with about 45 book under my Give Feedback tab. I read or listened to roughly 180+ NG books this year and I've gotten my feedback % to 97%. Now I have just 18 books under my Give Feedback tab.

I have no books pending approval. A lot of my reviewed books this year are audiobooks. I love that NG has audiobooks now.

I earned my 500 reviews badge this year.

I do have two really old NG books that I need to read, one from Dec 2017 and the other from Oct 2019. I do plan to read those but was focusing on current books and those keep falling farther back on my to do list.

1167739 The audiobook is very good so that's the way to go if you can get it.

Ditto for me, I've read/listened to all her books and enjoyed them all. I just finished this one a couple of days ago. Now I have a long wait until the next book.

I thought the narration of this one was very good, with two different narrators for the two women main characters.
