Omg lol urania I can so relate to that, I'm in a ton a ton of groups too and I can never make characters on time. Except for when I focus.. but that's rare. I said I'd start an hour ago but I didn't.. And I'm also rping in that Blackwell High rp group that I think you're in too, and I have school work, and life (you know, food and stuff), so I kind of have to split my time. Which I suck at. So you're not alone. XD

Okay, I'm just going to reply to this now, and if you're busy you can look at it later. And all of that makes sense, thanks for wanting to make it work. I do too.
So, possible histories:
Butterfly queen had a husband a long time ago (just like how Thyme and Basil were rulers a long time ago) and while she was away on royal business, (like you said) Thyme lost faith, was seduced by him, yada yada yada, (I'll expand on this in the actual history). Point is, Thyme had Veronica, who has butterfly wings. And then it can either be Valeria never knew but killed her husband anyway (she may have been suspicious of him) or that she knew, and that could be the reason she killed him. Whichever you think is best. So Valeria became a widow, early in her rule, like you said. And then (whether or not we choose that Valeria is aware of what her husband did) since Thyme knew who Veronica's father was, she sheltered Veronica, and never told her who her father was, for fear of what Valeria might do.
Or we can have it where she didn't kill him. But I don't think you said that's what you want.
And I guess another option is to just forget the king, Valeria is single, and Veronica's father is a butterfly commoner that died a long time ago. (In this scenario Veronica still wouldn't know who he was, and she may even still be able to suspect it was the butterfly king.)
Valeria can even say either way, (if you want to) that she never had a husband (she doesn't want people to know she killed him, so she pretends like he never existed) or she could be telling the truth that she never had one.
So I guess I'd be fine with any of these scenarios, so you tell me whether or not I should change anything, and I guess I'll start working on Veronica's history in my thread? And I'll come check it with you before I submit it too, even if you agree with any of the histories above. I'd of course prefer the first one, but it really is up to you, since you claimed the butterfly ruler literally before I ever joined this group. Also I realized that I found this group through one of the ads you posted, the one on the mod support group XD, so thanks, I may not have ever found it if you hadn't. Another reason you should get to choose, even though you would get to choose anyway! :)
Also, if you need clarification about anything I said in the possible things I said above just tell me, because I sort of rambled while trying to type this quickly, off the top of my head. (I apologize for any spelling errors.) And if you don't like any of the options I listed, just tell me, and we can work it out! You won't have to make a king though either way though, since he'd either be dead or non-existent. But you may want to update Valeria's history if we do end up doing this.

Oh thanks for replying. I didn't see it while I was relying to Alice. I'll comment more ideas I have in one second. Also it's not like we were planning anything, I actually just went up to her in a similar way to what I'm doing now with you, and asked her about Rosemary's history. Then we came up with some ideas. This was just one.

I'm not asking to take it from her. I just want to know if that would work with what me and melpomene were talking about for Veronica's history. And I'm fine if she doesn't want there to be a king yet. It can just be some random butterfly guy that died already, I don't really care, I was just asking her. I figured I should at least tell her the situation before I started making things up.

Is there a butterfly King? I don't think there is, is there? Because me and melpomene were talking about this hare princess that I'm making, and she happens to have butterfly wings in the picture I found. So greta suggested that I have her father be the butterfly king. Queen Thyme, Veronica(my princess)'s mother lost faith in King Basil, her husband, and was seduced by the butterfly king or something like that. And it makes sense if you go read Rosemary's history, (Basil actually later on murders Thyme, with a poison that was altered to look like the flu.) But anyway, all that is pointless if there is in fact no butterfly king. Also I'm not sure if the timelines would match up, or if that would instead make Veronica (who is not aware who her father is) a butterfly princess instead, since that was her dad. But I really don't know. I'm just looking for your opinion in this matter, since you have the butterfly ruler. It's all still a work in progress of course, and I can change it if necessary, I just thought it was a cool idea.

Veronica has light pink hair that she styles in two waterfall braids that meet in the back of her head and long pink bunny ears the same shade of light pink as her hair. She does not have human ears, she instead uses her bunny ears to hear. Her skin is very pale and her eyes are a deep rosy-pinkish magenta. Her butterfly wings are a light golden yellow color. She has very soft features and often wears light pastel colors. She will also wear different types of jewelry like earrings. And instead of wearing a tiara or anything at formal events for the royal family she prefers the look of a silver diadem headband that rests on her forehead.

No idea. But most of the time it is a soft, small, sweet, and very feminine voice. But Veronica has a way of making her voice sound both intimidating and innocent at the same time when she gets mad though, so watch out. She's not afraid of standing up for herself.

Veronica is very good at gardening despite her distaste for bugs and dirt, so that would be her growing power since she's a bunny that she could also use for self defense. She can also fly with her butterfly wings, but not for long distances, as it is very tiring and she does not have much practice.
