The humans were funny little things to Void, they had been starting their own civilization and kingdoms and whatnot, but nevertheless Void was tired, tired and bored, and the little shrieks they gave out were starting to get very, very annoying. The god was so exhausted and was starting to think that Ruler of The Universe was a title too big for one person to bear so, it split itself.
Eight gods came from the first, Aretha goddess of darkness, nightmares and music, Haermine goddess of light, dreams and hope, Saer god of fire, chaos and medicine, Poaer goddess of water, calmness and water-borne illness, Feira god of earth, wisdom and sickness, Veikar god of wind, freedom and peace, Lakoi god of lightning, destruction and lies, Reandai goddess of ice, creation and truths. These eight gods ran the universe pretty well for a while, an era known as the golden age. Then one day they decided to let the humans rule (I know terrible idea, right?). So, they took their essence, conscience, minds, whatever and put them in crowns.

This is what I have so far, I'm still working on it

In the beginning there was nothing. Absolutely nothing just a whole lot of nothing. Now, when I say “nothing” you might think a giant space of blackness well, you’d be wrong, for, when I say nothing, I mean Nothing. For example, close your eyes or don’t, it doesn’t really matter, and try to see through your elbow, yeah that is what I mean when I say nothing. Now, with that out of the way we can get back to the story.
For awhile there was only nothing then, something happened, something appeared. The first of the gods, Void, appeared, Now the darkness you were thinking of comes. After a very long while, the god thinks “Huh, you know, this is really boring” so, it creates something a planet, but it wasn’t called a planet it wasn’t called anything this was the beginning of time there were no words. The god, Void, put life in that planet, it immediately grew trees, grass, flowers, etc. it was so beautiful, and the god wanted someone to share it with so, it created humans.
