1258082 @Sky My father goes "Ew gross!!!" whenever my sisters or mother brings it up. It's honestly kinda pathetic ngl

1258082 Of course girls can. Dude, I carry tampons on me just in case my friends need some?? It's normal. It shouldn't be something seen as taboo or inappropriate... It's literally something 51% of the population will go through from early teens to late adulthood... It's honestly the most normal way to bleed, so why is it the most shunned to talk about??
1258082 @Chulu Thank youuu
1258082 I don't personally think that they face rights issues, I more so believe that men often face societal pressures that can influence them horribly (Not saying that women don't as well ofc). This can be tied to hazing, the suicide rates, struggle with showing emotion, toxic masculinity, etc. When society constantly tells men to "Man up", "Rub some dirt on it", "Suck it up", etc, etc. Evidently, they begin to shove their emotions down. This builds killers, literally. Men are more likely to commit crimes, and consequently be killers. Killers exist for many reasons, but it's mainly a combination of the way they're raised and a bit of neurology. When men are constantly taught to shove their emotions down, and act a certain way to be "masculine enough", they evidently become criminals in today's society. Hazing is semi-similar. It's a ritual to "prove" something. It doesn't always include alcohol, but in some cases it does. Hazing can lead to devastating psychological effects, and even death. Hazing CAN happen with girls, but it is most common with male groups (Especially in college). Hazing is built off of peer pressure, and the idea that if you don't do something, you'll be ostracized.

Male Dysmorphia is also a huge issue, that barely anyone talks about. Men still have body image issues. "You need to work out more", "Are you even natty?", etc, etc. But if a man dare bring it up? They told they're weak. That they don't even have it that bad, etc.

This leads me to my final point: Male Sexual Assault. Whenever a man is raped, they will almost always receive comments like: "Men can't be raped", "You're stronger than her??", "I bet you liked it", and many other dehumanizing comments. Men are less likely to even speak up about their sexual assault, and it is so freaking normalized, it's disgusting. Men are shamed for talking about women's body's, so it should never be okay for a woman to do the same to a man. "His dick is so small" --- Not okay. "He's so skinny" or "He's so big" --- not okay! Idk why people think it is. I mean, remember how when Justin Beiber won an award and Katy Perry borderline sexually assaulted him?? If a man did that to a girl, he'd be behind bars. Or how grown adult women were crushing on Walker Scobell?? Yeah, that's not okay, at all.

Yes, but what about pedophilia? My point is that God wouldn't talk more about two consenting adults who js so happened to be the same sex over someone forcing themself on another person, or a full grown adult in a relationship with a child. That would be wrong.

For sure, I can see where you're coming from. However, with the science, context, and overall message of The Bible: Do we really think God would condemn homosexuality more than rape and/or pedophilia? Like genuinely. Because that's what those six verses were about, if you just contextualize it.

If you know someone who acts like a pedo or a rapist, absoLUTLY call them out on it (And hopefully call the police), because I hope we can all agree that that stuff is disgusting, unethical, and wrong. However, there is science to back up the fact that God made people gay (Or that gay people are born that way, but God created everyone, so).

Not to mention that the greeks did have a word for homosexuality: kinaidos. Why wouldn't Paul use the word kinaidos instead? If that word literally meant homosexual.

In the bounds of labels, yes. But I'd clarify that you mean "Labeling sexuality is a choice"

Sexuality isn't a choice. It's a choice to label it, but sexuality is not something you can choose.

For sure! "We will then highlight findings that suggest a link between sexual orientation and epigenetic mechanisms. In particular, we will consider the case of women with congenital adrenal hyperplasia (CAH). These women were exposed to high levels of testosterone in utero and have much higher rates of nonheterosexual orientation compared to non-CAH women.” “The biological basis of human sexual orientation: is there a role for epigenetics?” Tuck C Ngun and Eric Vilain

1. How is the Bible used to promote political ideology? In Genesis, the hebrew word used to describe Eden is "ezer" which means rescuer. KJ in the KJV changes it to "helper", because KJ was sexist. He often vocalized his distain for women, and changed the actual word to fit his ideology. Therefore acting in a Machiavellian manner, corrupting the actual meaning of the text.

2. The specific word arren doesn't mention a child in general, one of the meanings is male child. So why was Paul only condemning the rape of male children and not female children? So arren or arsen (Both the same word, js different spellings) is in other parts of The Bible as well, and one word used is Arsenokaitai. The word comes from two Greek words: arsen, meaning “male” and koites, meaning “bed”. Considering the historical context of same-sex relationships in that time, the fact that it was usually used to show dominance, and it was in a pederasty way, one can infer that these verses are referring to sexual assault and pedophilia other than same-sex relationships. We already covered that, but like I stated before women also engaged in that behavior, it was js less seen as it was with men. Like I stated before, language in the Bible often favored men, and was directed towards men, especially because most women couldn't read.

"To think that God loves the trees, but condemns that blossoming thing they do in the spring" - Christina Laruen

If we know that being gay isn't something you can choose, then why would God make someone experience same-sex attraction?

Natural could so easily mean the fact that they were usually expected to be submissive and do whatever a man told them to. And the fact is, he might've! I've already proven that the Bible has been translated in a Machiavellian manner to aid someone's political ideology.

Man is used in a gender neutral way in most of The Bible. That's why.
