I’ve never not been able to do it lol. I disliked throne of glass after the first book, but had to push through
Yeah the beginning was so boring and I just wasn’t feeling it lol debating if I will start the next one
I’m not going to lie, this book took me a very long time to get through! I felt like the whole time in the beginning. It was just kind of a back-and-forth where Diana is like. I’m so evil leave me alone and then he would be like no, you’re not! It was just kind of the same thing over and over and over again. This made me not wanna get back in and read it! I do think it all started to come together in the end, but Boy, did it get a little dirty towards the end 😆 I will say, the end did surprise me when it turns out that was her dad! Did it ever say if he did die? I don’t think it really said that she killed him just that it was kind of implied? I was shocked about Cameron, but I don’t know how Diana could be mad at him when he basically said he is doing the same thing that she did with her sister.
I was going to be so angry if Dianna was tricking him the whole book lol that’s what I thought was going to happen and she was undercover for Kaden
I FINISHED! I think the reason this book took me so long, was because it was really hard for me to get into it in the beginning. I feel like all the books I read that are in the fantasy realm are in a current time. This had like phones in it and stuff, so I think that was throwing me off. Once I got into it, though, I finished it in two days! It definitely had me hooked as things were all starting to come together at the end. I have to go back and reread some parts though because I was really flying through it, skimming sections towards the end when it started talking about How he was the one that ended the world, because I still didn’t fully comprehend what happened and how he ended it. The ending definitely got me though! I thought the next book was gonna be how they were on a quest to go and save the sister, but I was shocked that she actually died! I hope that she is actually died and I say that in the most non-mean way ever 😆I just hate when they do something dramatic but it’s like oh wait never mind we brought her back to life! I’m on to read the second one and it definitely won’t take me as long!
I’m almost done with the Book of Azeael lol I got a part time job and it’s really cutting into my reading time 😂😂
OH MY GOSH! I thought the finish day was Aug 7th, so I am wrapping it up this week lol my bad! I am going to burn through this book and should we do the second book and meet September 4th?! Mary has said it was pretty good lol. I will come back at the end of the week when my reading homework is done 🥲😂😂😂
I played some of my audiobook for my husband and he was like what in the world is this 😂😂 Maybe it will come in early?! I think it’s a popular book now
I’ve been recommended The Book of Azrael a few times! I don’t know much about it. I know there are some “spicy” scenes, so don’t know if it would be for everyone lol let me know what you think or any other suggestions!
LOL that’s exactly I what I was thinking. What a creep, and it would have been worse if she would have stayed with him knowing that 😂
Ahhh yes. The ego lol I find that most main characters are annoying to me, because I’m like why in the world would you do that? But then I remember if they played it safe the book wouldn’t be interesting 😂 Anyone have any suggestion for another book? Our little club is dwindling 😂
I wrapped up this book pretty quickly! I think I enjoyed it more than the Sirens. Throughout the whole book I kept thinking how disappointed I was going to be if Ryan was Mr. Smith 😂 I wasn’t in LOVE with this book, but it kept me interested enough to keep reading! The best part was obviously the end when Devon? Or Amy? called Luca and said hello Mrs. Smith 😅 It just felt like such a Hollywood ending lol I can totally see this book being made into a movie. I gave it three stars, because I just felt like something was missing to keep me totally hooked! Like some big shocker or cliffhanger. I kind of rolled my eyes that they moved in with eachother after 3 months, but my parents were engaged after four months, so who am I to judge 😂
If there’s no objections by the end of the day we will do that book! Let’s plan on reconvening July 7th to discuss it 🎉
I gave it a three in good reads as well! Felt like a blah ending. And that’s a great idea! We will just take turns picking a book. Who wants to go first?
