The Normal Heart has an August 26th release date. That movie should be required viewing for all Boystown readers:)

The entire time we were watching it, I kept telling my husband about stuff from the series that related to the movie.

A lot of people didn't like Patrick's character but I did. He's endearing. He says and does all the wrong things but it's not because he's a bad guy. I really liked this show and I want you guys to watch it so we can talk about it! The season didn't end that long ago though and I don't know how long it takes to come out on DVD :(

Patrick's friends are teasing him about going out with Richie, cuz they figure since Richie is Mexican he's probably uncut and Patrick's never been with anyone uncut before. Patrick is this really awkward and kinda naive guy always saying the wrong thing so when they're about to have sex Patrick starts babbling about Richie probably being uncut and makes it seem like that's the only reason he wanted to go out with him.

I loved QAF too. Both the American and the British version.

There's a show on Netflix called DTLA, haven't watched it but it looks good.

It was horrible. That's what it was. Having to actually get dressed and head out to the video store-simply horrible!

I heard that, about people finding Looking too slow, but I really liked getting to know the characters. My favorite episode was the one where Patrick and Richie go on an all day date and it's just them the whole episode talking and getting to know each other. I'm really looking forward to the next season.

I've never seen Weekend but they have it Netflix so I can remedy that real soon. :)

HBO's "Looking" is really good, too. Marshall Thornton mentioned "The Normal Heart" movie in that interview. Have you guys seen it? If not, I recommend it, great movie.

I buy a lot of my books at ARe (all of the Boystown series were bought there, except 6 and LBD) and no matter how I've searched for 6, it doesn't come up.

I like buying directly from the publisher because
1.I read that authors get more money when you buy direct
2.and, I live in AZ and I get new releases early (for me) cuz of the time zone :)
