Lucien's estate is magical, Lucien's life is magical, Lucien is magical! I can't believe he has a Hadley for a sister. They didn't get into what her deal was really. But I guess her family was as dysfunctional as anyone else's seeing that her Mom's in rehab. If Lucien's lifestyle wasn't so constrictive with all the rules that come with being rich and gentlemanly (and if he didn't live so far away) I'd totally ship Lucien and Amy. Oh yeah and if HAdley wasn't a nightmare.
It was okay....not exactly original. Nonetheless, a somewhat entertaining read. Wait I take that back, I thought the begining was kind of boring. But it got interesting once the roadtrip started.
I love the writing style so much. It's so prosey and poetic. I thought the last book was the best book. The main thing that really drew me in was the writing style and the powered people in a normal world.
I just love Mafi's diction, her writing is so poetic. That was was pulled me into the series. My favorite parts of Shatter Me are all the steamy shirtless Adam and Juliette scenes. And the ending was pretty epic, Warren's down and there's a whole underground world no one knew about. Kenji is super frustating in the first book. It just seemed like he was always in the way.
