154732 Act V, Scene 3 [Dunsinane. Macbeth’s Castle]
Enter Macbeth, Doctor and attendants.
Macbeth: Stop! Don’t bring me more useless reports, let them come!
Till Birnam Wood let him go to Dunsinane,
I can’t live in fear. Who is the boy Malcom?
He is just another human, with his words we know how he thinks:
“Don’t fear, Macbeth. No man that is mortal should destine your future or decide over you”
Then go find friends with power and loyalty!
When that is done I should not live in fear of that boy.
Enter Servant.
Why do you come to me with that look in your face, are you stupid?
Why is the reason you look at me that way?
Servant: I counted ten thousand-
Macbeth: Ten thousand what?!!
Servant: Soldiers, sir; soldiers.
Macbeth: Go and wash that fear off your face,
Tell me innocent boy, what soldiers do you see?
You must not be wrong, ones again what soldiers do you see?
Fear is contagious!. What soldiers do you see?!!
Servant: English man, I see.
Macbeth: Remove that face of ignorance and fear from me. [Exit servant]

154732 Life itself can be dramatic; many times we just don’t see it until we take a moment to put the pieces together of our life to see it. Sometimes drama comes in a form of being ironic; this is what happened to one of my friends. My friend was deployed to Iraq back in 2002 he was engaged, no more than a year to be married. When he was deployed he meets a fellow soldier that was in his same combat regiment, with time they became good friends and talked about hobbies and family. My friend was told that he could not come back because of he’s short term in Iraq, even though it had been 10 months deployed all ready. He asked the soldier if he could please drive down to Texas to deliver some presents for he’s girlfriend. When the soldier returns to Iraq and tells my friend of how lovely he’s girlfriend was, he immediately became suspicious of how he expressed about her. After a week of same type of conversations, he called us asked to keep an eye open for he’s girlfriend. The soldier confessed after two weeks that he had an affair with my friend’s fiancée and immediately he called her and confirm, sadly it was true. The ironic part is that after my friend was send home from Iraq and wanted to start over at the military base where he was based, he found a girl in the base’s bar that after 4 dates turn out to be the sister of the soldier who betrayed my friend. “My thought, whose murder yet is but fantastical, Shakes so my single state of man”. Sounds like the soldier that betrayed my friend and even if he thought twice about doing it, he’s corrupted desire was stronger.
Life indeed has Dramatic Irony, look around to find it.
