Spooky would be a great theme for October! I think a classic like Frankenstein would be amazing! I'll create a poll of creepy/spooky books :D

Hi everyone! As some of you may know, I've been in a book slump for a longggg time, nearly a year to be honest. But I recently bought new books and I think I'm actually back into reading which I'm thrilled about! I don't have any plans to come back to tumblr, just because I think it started causing me stress, but I'm so excited about getting to participate in the book club this upcoming month as well! It still amazes me how many of you kept this going while I was gone!! Thank you so much Kami and Mary you two are amazing moderators <3 So since I've been so out of the loop I'm not really up to date on new releases, mostly I'm reading old ones on my tbr, like Winter, the Throne of Glass series etc.

So what are some books you guys would like to read in September? I'll be creating a poll with the suggestions in about two days!

I just checked tumblr and goodreads for the first time in forever and I'm so sorry I haven't seen your messages before! I've been trying to disconnect from all forms of book social medias so that I can try to get back into loving reading. But I'll gladly make both of you moderators and all you guys' hard work on keeping this club active makes me so happy :') I might be a little inactive on these sites still but I'll always come back so if you need me just leave a message :)

what did you guys think of weeks one reading specifically? (pages 1-101) I still have a few chapters to finish up (busy week :( ) but I agree about the writing! it's my favorite aspect of the book so far! I'm completely in love with the writing. also, I love Shahrzad! she's one of the best female characters I've read in a long time.

Remember, you can read as fast or slow as needed but the reading schedule is up to help separate discussion threads and reduce the amount of spoilers people may see :)

Week 3 (9/14-9/20): Pages 197-302
Week 4 (9/21-9/27): Pages 302-finish

Since most of you have already started (or finished haha) the book, I factored that into the schedule :)

June 1st-7th: Chapters 1-11
June 8th-14th: Chapters 12-24
June 15th-21st: Chapters 25-36
June 22nd-28th: Chapters 37-46

Tonight I wont be home but if anyone wants to post a discussion for weeks 1 and 2 I won't mind :) I hope you all are enjoying it so far, I think it's pretty interesting :D
