Jesus is the ultimate Revolutionary. Have you ever read His red letters and thought what it would be like if Jesus were on earth today? He would surprise a lot of folks I'm sure.

His ways are always profound. For example, He asked His followers to act opposite of what so-called common Sense would say. We can see this in Matthew chapter 5:38 – 41

“You have heard that it was said, ‘AN EYE FOR AN EYE, AND A TOOTH FOR A TOOTH.’ “But I say to you, do not resist an evil person; but whoever slaps you on your right cheek, turn the other to him also. If anyone wants to sue you and take your shirt, let him have your coat also. Whoever forces you to go one mile, go with him two”.

Somewhere else in the Bible Jesus instructs us to “bless those who curse us and pray for those who spitefully use us”.

Jesus set the bar high when He spread wide His arms letting them nail Him to the cross as He cried, “Father, forgive them for they know not what they do!”

He has asked us to be like Him. One word defines what that means: Love. We are to love no only when it is easy, but especially when it is hard.

If we listen and obey his call to radical love, we will certainly be a part of His Revolution!
