Our book for August is Death in the Jungle: Murder, Betrayal, and the Lost Dream of Jonestown by Candace Fleming.
As Debra pointed out, in our poll comments, this is a book for a more mature audience. We have touched on the topic of the Newberry age range a few times in our discussions. What are your thoughts? Is this a strong contender for the Newbery award or more appropriate for the Printz award?
