Best Australian Ghost Stories: Spine-Chilling Tales of Hauntings, Apparitions and the Unexplained by Graham Seal.
Purple Bookish Frog (Bonnie) wrote: "Tracey I choose for you: Bury our bones in the midnight soil by V E Schwab for no other reason than the title is cool and rings forth to mind a song with lyrics close to it but can’t figure it out...."Thanks so much Bonnie! If you remember the lyrics, let me know 😊
Thanks Bonnie! Jenny, for you I've chosen Limoncello Yellow by Traci Andrighetti. It's not just that it has the brightest cover, but I couldn't go past an author with the name Traci 😆 Hope you enjoy this cozy mystery set in New Orleans.
My first book for December is The Mushroom Tapes by Helen Garner, with the ugly bright green cover. I thought it was the ARC edition when I first saw it.
Jenny wrote: "Sorry Bonnie - I was being cheeky to Tracey How exciting Jenny, two books! Very lucky for whoever gets you in the draw 😊" I asked for two books in December! example - Bonnie and Tracey pick a book each for me for Dec!..."Yep, that's right! I can't commit to two buddy picks this month.
Eeeek, I didn't get to include my last book for November, it was The Cottingley Secret by Hazel Gaynor with the misty cottage on the cover.
Jenny wrote: "Tracey we could spread the fun around asking two people to pick a book each? 😀"Ooooh, what a great idea Jenny! 🤗
Jenny wrote: "Hi Bonnie, I'd like to sign up for two books in December!"How exciting Jenny, two books! Very lucky for whoever gets you in the draw 😊
Purple Bookish Frog (Bonnie) wrote: "I will try to start this in January with book 1. Looking forward to it. My library has book one so I will try to get it out ready for January closer to the time."Looking forward to it Bonnie!
Sharon wrote: "This was my vote and I’m just now starting the 32 hour audiobook! Won’t be finished in December!"It's a long one, good luck Sharon!
We're more than halfway through the month and I've only finished one book so far, eeeek! You're having a great reading month Sharon.
Finally finished my first book for November and it was Boleyn Traitor by Philippa Gregory with the white cover.
Sharon wrote: "Finished my buddy pick. It was very well researched and such a tragic story. Thanks for choosing it Tracey!..."So glad you enjoyed it Sharon, I'm sure it would have been a gruelling read in some parts.
Purple Bookish Frog (Bonnie) wrote: "In that case I shall choose for you Innocence by Dean Koontz. It’s the next in line for the oldest book on your sbc tbr. Hope this one will be a good read for you not, I’ll pick another 😁"Thanks Bonnie! I never tire of picking books for people either, it’s so much fun 😉
