Thanks J W. I just got it too. Variety in reading is always a good thing. Good luck with all your reading in 2018
Mary had sent me some short Austenesque stories. Can they be included or would it be cheating as they are just shorties?
I didn't like Costner in the role. Errol Flynn is and always will be Robin Hood for me. He just 'had it' and I don't know anyone who could replace him.
Thanks for the pep talk J W. I'm determined to do better though this year. Not putting my 2018 total challenge so high so that I can enjoy my reading more. Finally getting sense in my old age!!
I'm in! Failed dismally this year but I'm going for Anne Eliott again. I have a few non fiction Austen I want to get to this year so fingers crossed I'll make it.

He made it his own and it was priceless."I watched Sense and Sensibility on tv this afternoon with hubby and drooled at the sight of Rickman as Colonel Brandon. He was a fantastic actor but this is the role I love him for the most.
Thank goodness my daughter had them out when she was six. She was off school every second week with them. My doctor told me to fight to get them out at the consultancy. I went in all geared up for battle, he took one look in her mouth and said 'well they're definitely coming out' . I felt very deflated:-)Hope you stay well Sheila.

I would be better off now if I had that doctor when I was young but jeez what a a weirdo!!!
I remember that feeling well Sheila. Never had any heating growing up. We lived in a small cottage and I remember getting up on winter's mornings and there would be frost inside on the window glass!! I've suffered from tonsillitis since I was a child but back in the seventies they wouldn't take them out unless you were actually choking. It's too late now. The doctor wouldn't recommend it at my age. So I'm stuck with them! Some years are not too bad but I've had a particularly bad one this year. Have had about six or seven bouts so far.
The tonsillitis was getting better but I can feel it again tonight. I have another lot of antibiotics so if it's still bad tomorrow I'll be starting back on them.
I have Varifocals Marlene. Took me a long time to get used to them. Those computer ones you have seem ideal but I have to wear them all the time.
