Thank you for everything you do, Sophia! Add me to the I Can't Believe It's Time For Another New Year gang! And what a splendid gang we are, eh? :-)

Congratulations on being selected for the panel, Abigail! And I LOVE Drunk Austen!
I loved the Emma Thompson Audible book! I hope she and the book win awards! It is like listening to radio theatre. She has the perfect tone throughout as the narrator/ Jane Austen, and conveys all the underlying exaggerations, melodrama, and sarcasm when appropriate. And the rest of the cast is also excellent, as is the production quality.

J. W. wrote: "I love Henry Tilney and I love J J Feild in the 2007 movie. That scene where he declared himself to Catherine in the garden was the best."Same! I am really looking forward to this read. I will try to discover if it is Henry Tilney I love or J J Feild. 😄 Or maybe I won't be able or want to separate them.
I think her scene in Sense and Sensibility when she finds out Edward is not married and starts sobbing is my favorite. It slays me every single time. She really is the queen of emotional scenes and crying.
This was my #5 read. I enjoyed this and gave it 5 stars. It is a novella that is related to Sway. I loved that Elizabeth Elliot's party planning business is named Excessively Diverted.

I loved this book! It pulled me in so deeply and unexpectedly, and I have such a book hangover! I had heard so much online buzz for this book, but I had no idea that I would truly love it. I wrote a review, but not only can I not do it justice, but I believe the way the book is written and how the story unfolds and reveals is something that must be experienced. I particularly liked the dark, brooding, calculating hero; we all know how those turn out to be. :-)

p.s.~ my favorite is still Pirates and Prejudice. And thank yous to everyone for kindness when I enjoyed the Pride Prejudice and Zombies movie. :-) I truly did almost automatically put myself in the Caroline Bingley level again this year...so glad I actually looked, ha ha. I am in awe of how much reading my friends here do.
Hi! This is my third year here. I am one of the quieter group members. I have noticed that my usual beginning challenge level for myself, the Caroline Bingley level, is now the Charlotte Heywood level. I have always ended up on the second level, which is Marianne Dashwood this year. I think I will end up there this year, and that will be appropriate for me. I expect to read under 100 books this year and I enjoy several genres. I also enjoy this group very much, and i am looking forward to this new year with everyone.

Anji, i also have a very soft spot in my heart for that 1940's movie! Larry and Greer.....sigh.. I was too young when I first saw that black and white to realize the costumes weren't authentic and some of the characters and storyline* cough Lady Catherine *cough weren't exactly in alignment with the book, but it is so enjoyable.
