Well, hi everyone! I can’t remember what level I was shooting for but I’m currently reading my 20th Austen/Austen related book. I just joined for next year with the goal of surpassing 20.
Hi Sophia, sorry it’s taken me so long to choose, you have a lot of books listed that I’ve not heard of, so I chose one that I’ve read and enjoyed, The Deception at Lyme by Carrie Bebris. And I’d like to thank Mary for the excellent pick, I just won a copy of that book from a blog and can’t wait to read it!
I’m in!1. A Contrary Wind, Lona Manning
2. Chance and Circumstance, Kara Louise
3. Compromised, J. Dawn King
4. The Persuasion of Miss Jane Austen, Shannon Winslow
5. Three Dates with Mr Darcy, Elizabeth Ann West
6. Colonel Darcy, Timothy Underwood
7. Twelve Days if Christmas, Darcy & Elizabeth what if, Jennifer Lang
I'm going to re-read NA and the modern retelling by Val McDermid that's been on my TBR list for ages.
Does anyone have any experience with the Jane Austen Letter Writing Society? They are starting their winter pen friends session and I'm thinking about joining but I'm a little intimidated.
