Diane Lynn’s comments from the Is there more life in 19C India after The Far Pavilions? group.

I read the first two a few years ago. My library doesn't have the third and since my interest petered out during Golden Afternoon I haven't pursued it. There were too many picnics and theatrical presentations, I couldn't stand another. I did enjoy The Sun in the Morning: My Early Years in India and England very much.
I spent some of my high school years (1969-1970) in India and enjoyed reminiscing about locations like houseboats on Dal Lake.

Hello everyone,
I was intrigued by the title of this group and had to join because TFP is one of my all time favorite books. I first read it back in the 80's, then reread four years ago. I loved it more the second time around.
It appears this group is not active, but that is okay, I already learned something here. The bookshelf gave me some ideas so thank you.
