9/21/09 Monday
tell about what happened in the story.

The 3 kids decided to go to a school to try to hide from the cops but instead one of the kids ratted out on them and so cops were searching for them.So conner and risa pull the fire alarm so they can get out of the school and not be noticed.One of the teachers figured out they were unwinds and she told them togo to this place that will keep them safe for a little.

Describe your favorite part.

My favorite part so far was when conner and Risa went to he address the teacher gave them, which was a old shop that let unwinds secretly hide there for a little and it was runed by a old lady and she made them right goals for if they could one day be free from this mess.

I still dont understand why a parent would make there kids go through such a horrible thing.Why didnt the parent just give the kid away when they had it instead of selling it ?

describe a part that surprised you.

It surprised me when conner picked the baby up from the door step.
I knew he knew what he was getting himself into and for a guy to be so caring was just surprising to me.

make a prediction of what will happen next.

I think hopefully then will find a stable and safe place to stay at. I think conner and risa will finally connect with each other and start agreeing on things.

Tell About what happened in the story:
Lev is a boy and his parents tell him he has the blessing of being a tithe.A tithe is just another word for unwind.Lev is having 2nd thoughts about being a tithe so he goes and he talks to Pastor Dan.Pastor Dan tells him it is what his parents chose for him todo in life.

Describe your Favorite Part:
My Favorite part so far is when Lev first meets Connor.Conner grabs Lev out of the car and holds him "hostage".I think it was my favorite part because it was really random and out of the blue.I liked how when Lev got hit with the tranquillizer,Conner pulled him out of the street.

Describe a part that surprised you:
A part that surprised me was when all three of the Unwind kids met.I think it was good luck for all of them to meet because they are all in the same situation.

Ask a question about things that confuse you or that you wonder about:

I don't understand why Lev thought being a tithe is a good thing.Your basically going to die and he is so young.Also I dont get why parents would want to unwind there child.

What i think will happen next is they all will get clothes and food and find a place to sleep for the night. I think there also gonna change there looks so nobody recognizes them.

Make a prediction about what will happen next:

Well Conner was taking a ride in the back of a guys truck and the guy got pulled over by cops while Conner was asleep.When Conner woke up he realized the car had stopped so he went outside and saw the driver being handcuffed and the police and his dad were standing there , he realized he was tracked by his cellphone.What i think will happen next is Conner will run out the truck and find a place to hide so that the cops and his dad wont find him.I also think he will put his cell phone somewhere where he isn't so they go to the wrong place.

Tell How You Would React If You Were One Of The Characters In The Story:


If I was Conner I honestly would be heart-broken. To have your own parents sign a unwind form would just kill me inside. What kind of parent does that.I think its right for Conner to runaway , i know i would.I hope Conner doesn't get caught by the cops.I think it was a stupid act of his parents to leave the form laying around when there trying to "hide it" from him. Conner probably should have turned his cell phone off so no one could track him but usually you don't think straight in tough situations like that.

9/7/09 (monday)

Tell about what happened in the story:

Clay received tapes from Hannah Baker (the girl who committed suicide)a few days after she killed herself.On the tapes she explained her 13 reasons why she killed herself and the people that were involved in it.Clay is confused because he never did anything to hurt her in fact he liked her.In the box of tapes Hannah left a map to show them the places that the situations occurred,each place has a star on it.So then,Clay goes to the places as he listens to the tapes and starts to understand why she killed herself of course he didnt agree with her decision.Clay realized he wasn't really a reason why she killed herself he was more of a crush.

Clay remembers the last words Hannah said to him which were "I'm sorry".On the day Hannah killed herself at school she was acting how she use to when she was happy so clay new something was up and that night after coming home from school she took the pills.
