Hello Christopher! It appears we have hit the two week mark for the Author Q&A group. I want to thank you from the very bottom of my heart for joining us here and offering us some additional insight into your writing process, background on the wonderfully deliciously wicked novels, and most of all, into what makes you tick!
I truely appreciate the time you took here with us, and would love to invite you to pop in every now and again to fill us in on what you are up to, and maybe answer some more random questions....
We will be here, should you miss us! Because we will definitely miss you!
Thanks again, and best of luck with the new release! See you on the book tour :)

What? NO takers? Christopher basically asked you to come up with a line up of actors for his book, and no one bit?Tsk tsk tsk
Christopher, When did you realise... hey! I can write! I have something here that other people might like, and want more of!
What was the very first story you wrote as you were becoming an author?
I cannot agree more when it comes to e-books. I am terrified that it will become the more popular format, taking money out of the authors hands, and taking books out of my bookstores! Yikes!
Lance, I love seeing authors talk to authors! Thanks for joining. And I am very interested to see what Christopher recommends to you.
Christopher, Many authors write about people and places they know. Some authors write themselves into their story as a character.
Is there any one character you have written that is MOST like you on purpose? Or perhaps one that you would like to BE?
Christopher, I think it is very telling of a person when they admit that another author "starstruck" them. I love it!!
"I saw in a PBS special that the Gospels didn't cover 30 years of Jesus's life, so I thought, I don't know anything about history or religion, I should write that. "Isn't that how some of the greatest novels in the world come into being? I loved the sense of humor and soul you created for Christ, and Biff...
Christopher wrote: "I wrote the first one because I was living in a town just like Pine Cove and I couldn't afford to go anywhere to research. I did the second one there because I had a deadline and I didn't have time..."Ahhhh.. hey! It's all about what works, Isn't it? If it ain't broke.....
Hi everyone. Thanks for joining!
I received confirmation from Christopher Moore that he is interested in hosting an Author Q&A session with us. However, he is not yet a member of Goodreads.
I emailed him all the links and steps he will need to take in order to join us, so I appreciate your patience while he gets himself up to speed and settled in.
In the meantime, please post questions for him to answer when he arrives. The two week time frame will begin once he joins.
*Be aware of the questions that have been asked previous to your post. Please do not post the same question more than once. We don't want things to get repetitive and redundant...
Thanks so much everyone and have fun!
Ok, are you a "gotta have my coffee in the morning" kinda guy? Or are you naturally full of zest and zeal?
Christopher, How long does it take you to write a book, from the moment you determine the story line to the manuscript being submitted for editing?
This was the book that started it all for me! I purchased it around the holidays, and read it in practically one sitting! I just could not get enough... How did you come up the plot-line? And can we count on a zombie-central novel anytime in the future?
Christopher,What book would you recommend a new reader to start with? Is there a particular order you feel your novels are best read in?
I started with The Stupidest Angel, and then moved on to A Dirty Job. Followed that up with Bloodsucking Fiends, and You Suck, then rounded things up with Lamb.
I loved how the characters from one assumed a walk-on role in another, and it sort of became a fun game for me to try and link up the casts....

This thread is for any personal (but not TOO personal!) questions you would like to Christopher to answer. For example:
What were some of the worst jobs you have ever held?
Who are you most "star-struck" by and why?
This thread is for any questions about the writing process -in general- that you would like Christopher Moore to answer. For example:
What made you become a writer?
Who or what are your main influences?
