Pamela Clare is excellent in both HR and RS."Julie Anne Long is great! I started her Pennyroyal Green series from book #5 so I can't say for the first 4 books, but what I've read so far has been wonderful!
Pamela Clare and Julie Anne Long are writers I discovered just last month. I have since read 3 books by each one and they have all become favorites of mine.
Leo from Married By Morning andGideon from The Perfect Rake.
Of course my favorite is Sebastian St.Vincent but he's been already mentioned by so many others.
I love Sebastian St. Vincent more than any of Kleypas' heroes! Sometimes we just have to agree to disagree.

I liked #4 but still preferred #2 and 3."I thought Kleypas would pair up Daisy with Cam, too. I have no idea why that didn't happen, when it was obviously her intention to do so initially, but I absolutely love Matthew. I think he's perfect for Daisy.

I'm starting the first book in the Wallflowers series tonight."I didn't like the first one in the series very much, but all the others were great! My favorite is Devil in Winter by far! When you read them, please let us know if you liked them.

Oh! You've already read all the books I have in my library apart from the best one!! I can't believe there is anyone that won't like this book. This is an epic story!
Komal wrote: "My all time favorite is Julie Garwood, her books make me laugh, cry, and ache. I wish she would go back to writing more highlander romance."I've read only one of her novels, Honor's Splendour, and I loved it. What is your favorite?? I want to read more...
My absolute favorite book is The Bronze Horseman. IMHO, this is the most amazing, romantic, heartbreaking, epic story ever written.
I so envy you! I'm a slow reader! I can't read fast because I don't understand what's going on and I don't enjoy it . I really wish I could read faster...

"Haha! You've read 14 books and you call it a slow month??
Lady Danielle aka The Book Huntress wrote: "I'm glad you had a great reading month in January, Iliada!"If somebody had asked me any other month, I would have known what to answer, since I usually read a book that I absolutely love only every now and then, but this month I've read quite a few!!
That would be Rhage and Zsadist from the Black Dagger Brotherhood. If I had to pick one, it would probably be Zsadist, because he was so tortured that you can't help loving him, but I really liked Rhage as well for other reasons. I would also like to mention Ian from Almost Heaven who is, I believe, McNaught's most balanced hero and Colin from Romancing Mister Bridgerton. I'm sorry! It's so hard to choose just one!! I've read so many great books this month! Best "reading" month ever!
Try Whitney, My Love by Judith McNaught. It has all the 3 themes you mentioned above and it's full of angst! This book has one misunderstanding after the other! It's historical, though. Sorry, I can't think of a contemporary.
