Ever thought about why Paulo Coelho mentions Destiny ( maktoob ) in his novel The Alchemist while Stephen King mentioned the two opposite side of angels in Insomnia?
Why there is a dark tower in most of the books?
Why so many charchters in novels and film are called Jack Sawyer, Jhon Sawyer, etc...
Why lord of the flies turns out to be a name of a devil?

I have the feeling and the idea that most of novelist are connected, writing about the same thing, maybe all stories are just driven for to serve one major purpose. They are all connected but i just can't prove it, so if you share teh same feeling or know of a similarity of two or three books in a way or another, please share.
