I wanted to write a book about martial arts that wasn't a technical manual or a biography but somehow captured the spirit and emotion of training with a true sensei. The idea started out quite modestly as a conversation between a master and student (working title was Sempai Kohai which means senior/junior) and it just rolled on from there and got more and more ambitious. In the end i chose the 'original' martial arts master Bodhidharma and his famous student Hui Ko and a 150,000 novel was born. Thanks for your question and glad you enjoyed it.
Bert, the internet is not big enough for you to hide!! LOL But seriously, who do you think would win, Mike Tyson or Bruce Lee?

Whether it's martial arts fiction, a biography or a technical manual (or not even martial arts related at all) I'll give you any advice I can on getting published.

Goran PowellHello. Ten years ago it was my dream to write books about martial arts, now I have two books in print and more on the way. If I can help you to achieve your dream too, I'll be happy to offer any advice I can. Or if you have any other questions about martial arts or my books in particular, this is the place to ask. But before you do, please introduce yourself and tell us a bit about yourself below.
