I think the Damian being like Nathaniel reference means
They both are not strong enough for Anita.

See Jean Claude picked two powerful people to complete his Trio
Anita and Richard.

However, Anita picked (whether it was on purpose or not)
two people, Damian and Nathaniel,
who are Not Powerful enough to boost her Trio,
and face it,
that is what the Trio is for, Power.

If I were Anita, I would have picked London and Domino
as my Trio (or if not Domino, I would pick Ethan or Victor) ,
both are strong enough to filter her power and not drain any of them like poor Damien gets drained all of the time..

Jamie Cambell Bower... as Asher, I kinda can see it, a little bit.
He definitely looks feminine below

I typed Edward's name by mistake, oops..

I think Michael Fassbender would make a good Asher
instead of an Edward.

I can see GuyP before JohnT as Olaf
but...
I just see someone larger, more bulky and more intimidating
than the two actors listed above.

Adam Beach is.. ok
as Bernardo but I was picturing a more square face, more masculine.

Takeshi Kaneshiro looks more Asian than Native. He is attractive but I dont think he looks like a 'Bernardo'.
He could be a Shang Da...

They should pick a new actor for Olaf.

When I look at John T, I see all of his movies that he has been in flash across the screen, like:
Him in Michael
Him in Face Off
Him in Phenomenon
Him in The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3
Him in Saturday Night Fever

Do you see where I am going with this?
He is a great actor, I just wouldn't want to see him as Olaf.

John T without hair, hmmmm, I do not know =)
I picture someone bigger and meaner looking than John T as Olaf.
There is this actor that I can see but I don't know his name, oh well..
And don't ask me what movie he was in cuz,
I don't remember that either =)

Jenson is.... for a lack of a better phrase is
"da bomb"
And I am sure he has the talent to play Edward / Ted
but, "I".. just don't see it.

You know, by this book,
I am sooo pissed with Asher that I just can't get into it.
Asher is such a whiny manipulative BI*TCH !

I was like out of ALLLLLLLLL the things that
Richard could have done or said,
why Asher? Hunh Richard, WHY?

Damien does get a girlfriend,
I forget which book it is in but yes, he does.

Anita also finishes her basement for Damien as well
but I forget which book that happens in too =)

It has been over a year since I read the series and
I have read so many in between..

p.s
If I was Damien's girlfriend, I would be pissed off too when he is summoned.
Anita has enough 'back up'.

It would be interesting to have a book for the side characters ..
but I think Hamilton needs to concentrate on creating a different angle for the series after book 20, Hit List.

It has gotten to the point where there are way too many characters.
I would like to see more of Damien but, like you said, it seems that Hamilton is done with him.

Question:
Richard trying to bring Anita's beast,
was that not inspired by Mommie Dearest's influence?

I think when the next AB book is released, before I read it,
I will re read all of the books.
It has been awhile and some 'scenes' I have forgotten ; )
