I came up with the idea after watching the Natalie Holloway disappearance case on TV. I wondered how a young person in the prime of the life could just vanish without a trace. The seed of an idea was born. I came out with my main character, Rachel Scott, whose three year old daughter disappears while playing in the front yard. Frustrated with lack of police progress, she begins her own search and rescue company and starts helping locate other missing persons. All while still searching for her own daughter - who was never found.
