60842 I'd be up for more...maybe a 150 challenge? I am not going on tour like last year, so I'm confident that I'll complete it!

60842 Happy New Year everyone!!

I totally failed at last year's challenge - I thought travelling on a plane every week for work would help me read more, but it just made me sleepy!

This year, I plan to read 104+ and I'm ready to get started! Is there a group set up for 2013 yet? I can't seem to find one.

60842 After 3.5 books about BDSM, I felt like I needed a little legit education on the subject.

60842 I'm so behind. I feel like I must be missing books.

That being said, re-reads count and I can't get enough!

60842 64. The Diviners by Libba Bray

LOVE! The first chapter had me a bit on the fence, but Libba Bray NEVER disappoints. Eerie and creepy and wonderfully researched novel taking place during the roaring 20s here in NYC - I was scared to walk home alone at night!

60842 63. The Witch Is Back by H.P. Mallory

Continuing on with this series b/c I want to see how it ends, but really, I kind of expect more story-wise.

60842 60. Heller by J.D. Nixon

Really adorable free Smashwords read. Great change of pace from what I have been reading.

60842 59. Iced by Karen Marie Moning

I feel a bit let down by this book. I was SO excited for it to come out, the Fever Series are all favorites of mine, and I was so happy for it to continue, but there was too much and not enough going on in this book at the same time. Too many voices/POVs. And, though I know Moning is American, the book was told in Irish voices but used American slang/idioms...crisps, not chips for example.

60842 58. The Siren by Tiffany Reisz

Um, yep, this book is about S&M.

60842 54. Shadow Heir

Sort of a ho-hum ending to a great series. Ah well. On to the next!

60842 53. Iron Crowned

Continuing the series.

60842 51. Storm Born
52. Thorn Queen

by Richelle Mead

Another nice, solid series by Mead. I'm enjoying them. And their dirtiness.

60842 50. The Fault in Our Stars by John Green

I have never in my life been so effected by a book, both in the beauty of the story and the writing. I wept openly and in public as I read, and have basically been forcing it on everyone I know.

60842 47. Across the Universe
48. A Million Suns

by Beth Revis

What a great start to this series! I rarely get frustrated with a book because I can't read FASTER! These books were just so wonderful. Cannot wait for the 3rd.
