from the The 104 Book Challenge - 2012 group.
Showing 1-20 of 67
I'd be up for more...maybe a 150 challenge? I am not going on tour like last year, so I'm confident that I'll complete it!
Happy New Year everyone!!I totally failed at last year's challenge - I thought travelling on a plane every week for work would help me read more, but it just made me sleepy!
This year, I plan to read 104+ and I'm ready to get started! Is there a group set up for 2013 yet? I can't seem to find one.
After 3.5 books about BDSM, I felt like I needed a little legit education on the subject. 68. The New Bottoming Book by Dossie Easton
I'm so behind. I feel like I must be missing books. That being said, re-reads count and I can't get enough!
65. The Angel by Tiffany Reisz
66. The Prince by Tiffany Reisz
And
67. Little Red Riding Crop by Tiffany Reisz
64. The Diviners by Libba BrayLOVE! The first chapter had me a bit on the fence, but Libba Bray NEVER disappoints. Eerie and creepy and wonderfully researched novel taking place during the roaring 20s here in NYC - I was scared to walk home alone at night!
63. The Witch Is Back by H.P. MalloryContinuing on with this series b/c I want to see how it ends, but really, I kind of expect more story-wise.
61. The Angel by Tiffany Reisz62. The Prince by Tiffany Reisz
Um...wow. A whole new world opened up for me...
60. Heller by J.D. NixonReally adorable free Smashwords read. Great change of pace from what I have been reading.
59. Iced by Karen Marie MoningI feel a bit let down by this book. I was SO excited for it to come out, the Fever Series are all favorites of mine, and I was so happy for it to continue, but there was too much and not enough going on in this book at the same time. Too many voices/POVs. And, though I know Moning is American, the book was told in Irish voices but used American slang/idioms...crisps, not chips for example.
55. Fire Burn and Cauldron Bubble56. Toil and Trouble
57. Witchful Thinking
by H.P. Mallory
Really cute...not at all what I expected.
51. Storm Born52. Thorn Queen
by Richelle Mead
Another nice, solid series by Mead. I'm enjoying them. And their dirtiness.
50. The Fault in Our Stars by John GreenI have never in my life been so effected by a book, both in the beauty of the story and the writing. I wept openly and in public as I read, and have basically been forcing it on everyone I know.
47. Across the Universe48. A Million Suns
by Beth Revis
What a great start to this series! I rarely get frustrated with a book because I can't read FASTER! These books were just so wonderful. Cannot wait for the 3rd.
