Elaine’s comments from the Q&A with Elaine Ouston group.

One of the questions I was asked at the launch of book one was, 'When did you know the book was going to be a series?' My answer was, 'When I got to 100,000 words and hadn't finished the story.' I knew that 60,000 was the usual number of words for the age group (9 - 14 years). I have said it will be a trilogy but Im not sure the story will be told by the end of the next book. We'll see.
