Save Haven by Nicholas Sparks I found to be really good. It's basically about a girl named Katie who randomly moves to a small town in North Carolina and works as a waitress in a restaurant by the ocean. As she starts to get to know the town and the people living in it, she meets a guy named Alex who owns a convenient store and has 2 kids. She also meets a girl named Jo who lives next door to her small cottage. Katie is a very reserved person and doesn't let people in much but as the story goes on she starts to fall for Alex. Throughout the story we know Katie has a dark secret which is the reason why she moved across the country to a small town. As the story goes on, Katie starts to let her guard down and let the people around her finally in. I thought this book was really good and I got pretty into it. I would rate it 4 out of 5 stars. There were some parts of the book that were pretty slow but overall I'd highly suggest it. I probably wound't suggest it to those who dislike the sappy love stories cause this is definitely one of them. But there's a movie coming out soon so i think it'd be fun to read this book then watch the movie.
I haven't gotten very far but My Sister's Keeper is about a girl named Kate who has leukemia and her parents have another child, Anna, to keep Kate alive. Anna now wants to sue her parents to the right of her own body. This book is really good so far and you keep wanting to read more.
