The nerds are herding again! Grab a copy of Piers Anthony's first and classic Xanth novel, and come join us October 5 for a rousing discussion of puns, magic, and talking cacti.

We didn't exactly do a good job getting together over the summer, but we're going to be back on track now that Fall is almost here. And since Ender's Game is just about the best book ever AND the movie is coming out soon, we shall read it in anticipation. When we re-convene on October 6, we will hopefully make plans to go see the movie.

I really like how all the boys just let me boss around the book selection. So! We shall read Terry Pratchett's Pyramids next. (Besides, it was time for something on the light, short side. And I hear a rumor there will be zombies next month.)

I'm full of suggestions, but I feel like I've been picking all the books lately. Anyone? Anyone?
