Michael's Frissons Clause - "Nothing, and I mean nothing that even slightly resembles Jane Austen, and that whole ball of 19th century foibles-of-the-gentry crap." Enforced as a default.

Rachel's Dystopia Clause - In cases of dystopia overload, Rachel reserves the right to elbow worst-case social discourse out of the running. Enforced occasionally.
